Our High Priest and Perfect Sacrifice
As we gather today, we’re reminded of Christ’s role as both our High Priest and our perfect sacrifice. Just as the high priest of old entered the Holy of Holies to present the blood of a sacrifice, Jesus entered heaven itself to intercede for us. His sacrifice was once and for all, covering every sin. Now, we live in eager expectation of His promised return—not to deal with sin again, but to bring us into His eternal presence. In this truth, we worship with confidence and hope in our Savior’s completed work.
