You’re Word-ly Rich

We spend our lives building. We build careers, savings accounts, and retirement plans—sturdy barns meant to secure our future. We check the balances and watch the markets, hoping to store up enough for a day when we can finally say to our souls, “Take your ease.” But what is the true foundation of our security? In a world that tells us to accumulate more, Jesus asks us to look at our treasures through an eternal lens. Today we consider the difference between the wealth that perishes and the riches that are ours forever in Christ, finding our ultimate security not in what we can build, but in the grace of the One who has given us everything.
