The Apostle Paul, by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, directs our attention this evening to such a saying—one he declares is not only faithful and trustworthy but is “worthy of all acceptance.” It is a statement so profound that it forms the very bedrock of our hope and the source of all true comfort. As we now quiet our hearts and minds for worship, let us prepare to receive this divine, life-giving truth with the reverence and joy it deserves.
