The Divine Economy of One

In a world of vast, impersonal systems, it is easy to feel like just another number—overlooked, anonymous, and insignificant in the crowd. But our God does not operate on an economy of scale; His is an economy of one. Today’s sermon text from Acts 8:26-40 introduces us to a searching, lonely traveler on a desert road, an outsider looking in. We will see how the Holy Spirit works in a beautifully personal way to bring the saving Gospel of Jesus to a single, precious soul. Let us prepare our hearts to worship the God who knows each of us by name and seeks us out individually to make us His own.
