An Education for Soul, Mind, and Body
At Immanuel Lutheran School, our purpose is simple but profound: to assist parents in the Christian education of their children.
We believe that true education goes beyond textbooks. By applying God’s inspired and inerrant Word throughout the school day, we provide the guidance, discipline, and security that only faith can offer. Our goal is to help your child grow in the knowledge and love of our Savior, while developing them into highly capable, useful citizens in our community.
"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it."
— Proverbs 22:6
The Immanuel Difference:
Faith Integrated into Every Subject
Religion at Immanuel is not just a single class—it is the foundation of our entire philosophy of education. We teach our K-8 students that they have a beautiful reason to learn and develop their God-given talents.
-
Science and Mathematics
We explore God’s highly orderly and awe-inspiring creation.
-
Social Sciences
We study God’s continual, guiding work in the history and affairs of the world around us.
-
Language Arts
We learn to communicate effectively so we can share God’s Word of peace and promise with others.
Our Christian teachers strive to help every pupil realize that faith isn't just about reciting facts—it's about a joyful, conscious effort to imitate our Savior in real-life situations.
As James 1:22 reminds us, "But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
Accessible Christian Education
We proudly accept Step Up for Students Scholarships!
"Step Up For Students empowers families to pursue and engage in the most appropriate learning options for their children, with an emphasis on families who lack the information and financial resources to access these options. By pursuing this mission, we help public education fulfill the promise of equal opportunity."
Home, Church, and School: A Combined Effort
We consider our Christian education to be the most complete education available, but we know that a school cannot take the place of the home.
The primary responsibility for raising a child rests with you, the parents. Immanuel is here to uphold and reinforce the values you teach at home. We ask our families to take an active part in their child's education, to support regular church attendance, and to foster a deep love for God's Word within the family. Together, we can provide the strongest possible foundation for your child.
