Stand Firm in the Faith
The Christian life is often a struggle against the pull of the world. We live in a culture that pressures us to compromise, to conform, to focus on earthly things rather than our heavenly calling. But in His Word, God calls us to stand firm—not by our own strength, but in Christ. Today, as we gather in worship, we are reminded that our citizenship is in heaven, and our Savior, Jesus Christ, holds us fast. He has overcome the world, and by His grace, He strengthens us through His Word and Sacraments. Whatever challenges we face, we stand firm in the victory He has already won for us. May our hearts be lifted in faith as we fix our eyes on Jesus, our joy and crown!
