The Lamb Gets the Last Word
As we gather this All Saints’ Day, our eyes are lifted from the struggles of this world to the triumph of Mount Zion. In a world echoing with the noise of sin and sorrow, it is easy to wonder who is truly in control. We remember those saints who have gone before us, who fought the good fight of faith and now rest in glory. Their victory—and ours—does not rest on human strength, but on the One standing victorious on the mountain. Today, the Apostle John invites us to listen to a new song of eternal deliverance. The world, the devil, and the grave constantly try to claim the final say, but today we gather to hear the ultimate truth: The Lamb has the last word.
